Machiavelli Rises
“Machiavelli Rises” is a wonderful fantasy (written by Ephraim Horowitz) that tells the story of what might happen if Machiavelli came back to NYC during the 20th century. I got to use a lot of “Renaissance” musical instruments for this film, and it was a total joy to write and record.

Vibrations
I think that this was the very first film that had a “rave” score (I think that’s what they called it back then) and I was proud to be a part of it.

Conscientious Objector
This is the documentary that the Mel Gibson film “Heartbreak Ridge” was based on. It’s the story of Desmond Doss, who was a conscientious objector during World War 2, but insisted on serving his country. He was a medic, and carried many wounded soldiers to safety at a time when the enemy tried to shoot the medics first. He is the only conscientious objector ever awarded the Medal Of Freedom by President Truman after the war. Desmond Doss was the very definition of “a courageous man” and “a patriot.”
